What we do not ask for
- Emergency dispatch requests
- Payment instructions or financial account details
- Sensitive personal identifiers that are not necessary for editorial contact
Contact form submissions
Messages submitted through the contact page are stored for editorial review. They may be used to assess correction requests, understand recurring patterns, and decide whether further reporting is warranted. Submission does not guarantee publication, response, or confidential-source treatment.
Evidence handling
If you describe notices, screenshots, work orders, or correspondence, they may be reviewed as context. They are not treated as verified fact until independently assessed against the publication's editorial standards.
Third-party services
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Infrastructure-level logs or security telemetry may be processed by that platform in the normal course of delivery and abuse prevention.
Retention and updates
Editorial submissions may be retained as long as reasonably necessary for review, follow-up, correction history, or recordkeeping. This policy may be updated as the publication adds features or changes its submission workflow.
